things that make me miss winter

bismillah...

konon2nye hari ni nak azam xmoh surf intenet langsung selagi xabes study anat, nampaknye saye tertewas juge akhernye.. nafsu.. (haih~) btw, alang2 da bertandang ke blog sendiri ni terfikir plak nak drop sumthing kat sini sementare nak tunggu mud study tu dtg balik huhu~

anyway, back to the story.. satu mase dulu kan, saye xpernah terfikir pun akan ke oversea utk melancong, apetah lagi utk study.. pernah gak dulu terfikir, hmm bestnye la kan bile dgr kawan2 citer experience mase blaja kt korea, france, jepun.. hidup kat negare 4 musim.. merase main salji mase winter, main guling2 kt taman bunge mase spring.. bestnye.. then sedar2 je saye ditakdirkan ke sini, bumi kudus nan tandus the hashimite kingdom of jordan.. 1st imppression saye ttg jordan agak menakutkan gak sbnrnye; panas, gersang, padang pasir, unte, orang 'badawi'.. huhu.. tp bile da sampai sini kire not bad gakla jordan ni.. 3ala kulli hal, jauh di sudut hati kecik ni hanye Allah je yg tau betape bersyukurnye saye berpeluang hidup merantau ke sini.. (walaupun.. huhu)

bercerite ttg tmpt saye blaja ni, jordan sbnrnye merupekan sebuah negare arab di timur tengah yg boleh dikategorikan sbg negare 4 musim jugakla, dgn summer n winter mendominasi corak perubahan iklim di sini.. spring n fall xketare sgt, tp bunge n pokok tetap luruh dan mekar berkembang bile tibe masenye (eceh~)..

kalu nak ikutkan, kebanyakan negare2 arab sumenye panas2 mcm saudi, emirates, yaman etc.. disebabkan jordan ni terletak lebih utare sket berbanding negare2 arab yang lain (lebih feymes dikenali sbg dataran syam), so iklim kt sini sedikit sebanyak ikut iklim negare2 europela.. mungkin sbb angin n awan2 dr sane turun ke jordan kot.. wallahua3lam (indeed, i'm not a geographer lol)

so sape yang tinggal kat jordan make akan merasela tinggal dlm musim sejuk dan panas setiap tahun.. hukum alam, ape yg kite jumpe mase winter selalunye xde mase summer.. begitu jugak bende yg kite jumpe mase summer selalunye xde mase winter.. dan mungkin da jd lumrah manusia, bile masuk winter, kite nakkan summer.. tp bile da masuk summer, kite nakkan winter balik.. hmm macam2~ saye plak, on d other hand, xkesah pun mane2.. saye bahagie mase winter, saye juge menderite mase winter.. summer pun camtu gak.. so nak xnak kite tempuh sajor.. nilah namenye ujian kehidupan, ye dak?

6 sebab kenape saye suke winter!

mase winter normally waktu malam die panjang.. kadang2 pukul 530pm matehari da sunset, sunrise esoknye kul 6-7 gitu.. tu kat jordan, kalu kat uk malam die lagi panjang sampaikan org bole depress sbb 'xdpt cahaye matehari yg secukupnye' (ade kajian mendapati kalu manusia xterdedah kepade cahaye matehari utk satu tempoh yg agak panjang dorang bole jadi depress).. mase summer malam sgt sekejap.. maghribnye sgt lambat tp subuhnye cepat.. kadang2 kalu xleh tido baru golek2 sedar2 da azan subuh.. tensen.. thats why saye prefer winter :)

bagi org khatulistiwa mcm saye mule2 dulu mmg pelik gile r, tiap2 hari konfius waktu semayang.. tp bile da lame2 kite biasela.. kalu nak ikutkan, saye suke malam panjang2 cenggini sbb lepas abes smyg isya dlm kul 7 pm gitu still bole buat mcm2 smntare nk tggu kol 12.. tambah pulak mlm2 sejuk, subuh pun lambat, alahai sedapnyee tido.. harharhar (teruknye, org lain bgn qiamla weyh!)

winter juge membuatkan saye sentiase mendongakkan kepale melihat awanan putih berarak merentasi langit nan membiru.. saye sukekan langit jordan semase winter! cantik, menakjubkan! (tym summer plak sebaliknye.. langit kosong, xde awan.. panas.. berdebu..) memandangkan udara jordan kurang cemarnye kalu nak dibanding dgn udara kuale lumpur, panorama yang dapat kite saksikan di sini mungkin di antare panorama yg terindah pernah saye lihat (tanpe melihat ke bawah lambang byk sampah.. org jordan kurang civic dlm menjage kebersihan).. melihat kekuasaan Allah mentadbir langitNya sudah cukup untuk menimbulkan rase kagum yang xterkalahkan, subhanal Khaliq!

satu lagi bende yg buatkan orang sukekan winter adelah bile turunnye hujan dari langit.. kat jordan atau mane2 negare bukan beriklim khatulistiwa, hujan hanye turun semase winter, dan kadang2 mase spring.. orang jordan ni bile cite bab2 hujan dorang agak holistik sket.. kalu hujan xturun dalam tempoh yang agak lame dorang mulela cuak, takut ia sbnrnye satu bala.. bagi yg thiqah, buat solat istisqa utk minta hujan.. bile hujan turun disambut dgn syukur dan tasbih yg xputus2 buat Ilahi.. amat 3alim ya3ni.. hihi.. bg dorang hujan ni ibarat rezeki dan rahmat dr langit.. bagi negara yg gersang mcm jordan ni, harapkan hujan jela sbg sumber air utk tanaman dorang.. so mmg patut pun sume org jordan suke kalu hujan turun.. dgn hujan pokok tumbuh, gandum tumbuh.. saye cume tumpang gembire jela :) (anyway, bile hujan kiteorg bole buat solat jama'.. yang tu sume budak melayu suke! hehehe)

winter juge merupekan satu mase dimane padang pasir yg suatu ketike dulu gersang dan tandus kini mule menghijau.. rumput dan gandum mule tumbuh melata, bebunge mule berputik dan berkembang mekar.. gambar kat atas ni sbg contoh diamik dr king abdullah univ hospital.. nampak kan padang rumput seberang sane tu.. rase tenang je bile perhati dataran rumput n gamdum nan menghijau di sepanjang perjalanan ke jamiah setiap hari.. satu pemandangan yang hanye boleh dilihat semase winter dan spring sahaje.. cantik sangat! (bile kite da lame xjumpe pokok2 byk mcm kt msia, nampak padang rumput tumbuh pun kite da kagum gile kt sini.. kesian2.. haha)

dan bende kemuncak yg akan menentukan winter taun tu best atau tak adelah bile turunnye salji! selalunye salji cume turun kat area2 tanah tinggi je (contohnye, ajloun n amman), tp kalu nasib baik area tanah rendah mcm irbid ni pun turun gak salji, mcm winter baru2 ni.. ape2pun, saye sukekan salji!! (kirenye xsie2la saye xkemane2 cuti hari tu.. haha)

lastly, bende yg buatkan saye suke winter adelah bile tibenye musim anggur dan strawberi yg sgt sedap dan lazat! best2!! adela lagi 2-3 jenis buah2an lain yg cume ade tym winter mcm kiwi etc, tp anggur n strawberi di antare yg menjadi pilihan hati.. kalu summer musim buah lain plak, ade epal, tembikai, honeydew, abu surah (aka buah oren yg sangat besar gedabak n sgt manis) & buah pic.. make salah satu advantage dpt study kt sini adelah puas makan buah2 yg xleh/susah nk jumpe kt msia dgn harge yg murah dan berpatutan, so mcm xkesahla musim buah ape skrg sbb sumenye sedap, hmm nyum2~ (but i really miss buah mempelan n duku langsat.. sape2 bole tolong kirim ke sini please?)

make itula di antare bende2 yg buatkan saye ternanti2 winter akan datang.. byk kenangan saye kt sini.. walaupun tangan kaki saye bengkak2 mase winter, saye tetap suke dgn winter mcm saye sukekan summer.. lagipun mungkin lepas ni tinggal 3-4 peluang je lagi utk merase winter kat sini sebelum balik semule ke msia.. mungkin winter hari tu merupekan winter saye yg terakhir.. who knows?

konklusinye, enjoylah setiap detik yg ade dlm hidup kite sekarang sbb kite xtau kite akan melaluinye lagi di mase akan datang.. anggap jela susah senang kite mase tu sbg satu ujian & cabaran buat kite.. bg sayela kan, experience2 kite mase blaja nila yg akan jd modal utk kite citer kt anak cucu bile da tue2 nanti, nampakla mcm idop kite ni adventure sket, kan kan? hahaha

okla, da lewat malam nih.. masuk tido dulu.. gudnite!

sentuhan jiwa

bismillah..

da jadi satu lumrah manusia, mudah lupe.. hari ni kite beriman, esok kite berdosa.. hari ni kite tabah, esok kite berputus asa.. tatkale kesusahan datang menerpa, terase hampir diri ini dengan Rabb.. tp bile nikmat datang silih berganti, kite terlupe memuji Ilahi..

betape lemahnye kite sebagai hambe Tuhan..

mungkin kerane itulah Allah mengingatkan kite supaye sentiase ingat memperingati antare satu same lain..

amin..

survival & masa depan melayu di bumi sendiri

bismillah..

saye xberani jamin bahawe pakatan pembangkang hari ni merupekan satu pakatan yg kukuh sbb kalu kite tgk cara dorang menangani isu pembentukan kerajaan negeri ni pun kite da boleh tau camne.. perjuangan mereka berbeza.. pas dgn islamnye.. pkr dgn keadilannye.. dap.. ntahla.. (silapnye saye mase sblm election dulu saye byk bace media pas dan pkr.. dap tertinggal..) so kat sini kite da bole nampak perjuangan pakatan barisan rakyat ni xselari.. dorang cume kukuh semase kempen je sbb sume target nak menang same2.. tp bile da sampai tahap ni nampak sangat depa xbersedia utk bersatu bentuk kerajaan negeri (tu baru negeri, kalu negare?).. pas ade target die, dap ade target die.. pkr pun same.. dan sume2nye xsame.. camne kite nak kate dorang kuat? (nilah kelebihan yg bn ade tp xketare sgt pade barisan rakyat)

pd pandangan saye lagi rasenye pas xde masalah sangat nak deal dgn dap.. cume dap ni je saye lihat terlalu agresif n 'banyak songeh' dalam mendepani satu2 perkare.. sesetengah isu mereka tangani secare drastik (dan xketerlaluan kalu saye katekan secare terburu2)..

sbg contoh.. dasar ekonomi baru yg telah menjadi dasar negare buat sekian lamenye telah dimansuhkan di penang atas alasan ingin menolak kronism.. bg guan eng, 'deb'la punce kronism berlaku.. 'deb'la yg buatkan org melayu xmaju (sbb sume bende yg kite dpt dapat take for granted).. so dorang nk hapuskan.. masalahnye skrg ni bile da hapus deb tu xde ganti dgn dasar baru ke utk mengatasi masalah orang melayu kt penang? ade? tu di penang. di perak pule misalnye, pelantikan menteri besar sahaje memakan masa berhari2 memandangkan kata sepakat masih belum dicapai.. bile sultan perak da tentukan, depa xsetuju plak (mentang2 dorang byk menang kerusi dun).. majlis angkat sumpah yg sepatutnye berlangsung hari ni terpakse ditangguh lagi sbb dap nak pulaukan.. so kt sini timbul persoalan, mane perginye toleransi dap dlm menentukan mb perak? kite dah ade perlembagaan, dah ade sultan utk memilih.. biarla sultan membuat pilihan dan hormatilah pilihan baginda.. isu mb perak ni hanye membayangkan kerapuhan barisan rakyat dan seterusnye memberikan persepsi yg buruk kepade masyarakat..

come on la.. baru 5 hari menang beb.. (mujurla penasihat dap lim kit siang menarik semula kenyataannye.. mungkin die baru tersedar sikapnye yg terburu2 tu cume akan mengeruhkan lagi suasane)

bagi yg faham, hal ni xjadi masalah sangat.. tapi bg mereka yg xfaham, lebih2 lagi hanye bergantung kepade saluran media arus perdana yg bias itu, mereka akan rase terancam.. sekirenye isu ini dieksploitasi oleh pihak media saye bimbang kestabilan dan keharmonian masyarakat pelbagai kaum di malaysia akan tergugat.. bagi saye isu ni isu kecik je, kalu kite tolak ansur xdehalnye.. tapi bile isu2 camni dikaitkan dgn sentimen perkauman, rakyat jadi risau.. saye sendiri pun risau!

pening kepale nak mencari jalan penyelesaian dalam isu ni.. lainlah kalu kite sume ni satu bangse.. kan senang..

isu ketuanan melayu: adekah masih relevan?

sepatutnye isu ketuanan melayu dah xpatut kite bangkit2kan lagi.. saye rase kite bukan saje perlu berubah dalam memilih kerajaan tetapi kite perlu berubah dari segi mentaliti kite sbg bumiputera ataupun non bumiputera.

tindakan lim guan eng kalu dilihat dari sudut positif mmg xde salahnye.. kite sume tinggal di negare yg same, atas kewargenegaraan yg same.. dengan usia negare yg da mencecah separuh abad ni, sepatutnye xtimbul lagi isu bangse melayu, cine mahupun india.. kite da lame sangat hidup bersame.. kite sepatutnye da jadi satu bangse baru - bangse malaysia! satu bangse gabungan bangse2 yang bersatu.. dan pembentukan bangse malaysia ini xkan dapat direalisasikan sekirenye kite takut utk meninggalkan mentaliti bersifat perkauman itu.. (cakap senangla kan..)

itu yg pertama, perubahan mentaliti dalam pembentukan masyarakat.. perubahan kedua adelah perubahan sikap.. orang melayu perlu menyedari bahawe mereka xkan maju sekiranye mereka menerime segale2nye take for granted. xde daye saing.. mungkin inilah yg mendorong lim guan eng mengambil keputusan utk menghapuskan deb (selain disebabkan manipulasi yg dilakukan oleh pemimpin2 bn terhadap dasar tersebut).. bg beliau, sekirenye kite hendak maju dan berdiri same tinggi duduk same rendah dgn bangse lain, bende utame sekali yg perlu dilakukan adelah mengubah diri dan pemikiran kite sendiri..

tgk sendiri orang cine, dorg maju sbb diri dorang sendiri, bukan sbb subsidi. dorang still survive walaupun xdapat kelebihan yg dinikmati oleh orang melayu, dan mereka still lebih kaye drpd orang melayu walaupun deb telah berjalan sekian lame.. hakikatnye, orang cine nak jugak dapat harge rumah murah mcm orang melayu, dorang nk jugak dapat bantuan kerajaan dalam perniagaan mcm orang melayu, dorang nk jugak dapat tempat utk ke institusi pengajian tinggi same macam orang melayu.. tp dorang xdapat.. yet they survive!

kite tgk plak org melayu.. dibagi subsidi, disalahgune.. dibagi kontrak, dijualnye kat orang.. dibagi biasiswa utk blaja, dibuatnye bende lain (xblajala maksudnye).. sumenye xmenjana kemajuan.. secare terang kt sini kite da nampak betape bangse yg bername melayu tu sendiri xmenghargai deb, so ape relevennye nk diteruskan deb kalu dasar tu sendiri hanye akan membawe kepade kerosakan bangse melayu itu sendiri? (walaupun pada hakikatnye mmg ade kebaikan tp dap melihat dari aspek keadilan sosial.. mungkin ni merupekan salah satu care utk dorang ajar orang melayu utk maju, mcm zaman tentere jepun dulu.. kot~)

itu yang saye nampak dan saye faham.. mmg saye rase cuak gak sbnrnye kalu deb tu dihapuskan sepenuhnye sbb mmg orang melayu rate2nye akan jadi susahlah, tp ape yg saye nak streskan kat sini ialah kesediaan kite utk mengubah mentaliti dan sikap kite.. tu je.. deb bukanlah masalahnye, same jugak dgn bn.. yg jd masalahnye skrg ialah orang melayu dan pemimpin2 melayu (khususnye umno) itu sendiri.. orang melayula yg selalunye mengkhianati bangse sendiri.. khianat apabile diberi amanat utk memerintah negare, angkuh apabile berkuase.. tau nak senang, mudah dan cepat kaye.. tapi pemalas! hakikatnye, melayu adelah sebuah bangse yang tengah sakit tenat.. kite memerlukan revolusi bangse!

perkare ni sebenarnye da lame da tun dr mahathir (orang tue ni lagi..) nampak dan titipkan di dalam bukunye 'the malay dilemma'.. sape2 yg belum bace silela bace.. die da tau mmg susah nak ubah bangse melayu ni selagi depa xrase terancam di bumi sendiri.. org melayu lupe sejarah sendiri, lupe perjuangan orang2 dulu.. mudah rase selese dgn kemajuan yg xseberape.. katenye "ala cukup2 makan sudah".. depa xsuke tengok bangse depa sendiri maju.. depa xmacam cine, saling membantu antare satu same lain utk maju.. orang melayu? faham2la sendiri camne.. tgk dalam umno, tgk dalam kuj (kelab umno j****n), tgk dalam mane2 organisasi melayu (permai terkecuali hehe - takut kene gam ke? larik!!).. sume ade problem..

the only thing utk memajukan malaysia khususnye orang melayu hanyela berubah, berubah dan berubah.. ubah mentaliti, ubah sikap.. ubah, ubah dan ubah.. da xde care lain lagi yg mampu memajukan orang melayu.. buatlah seribu dasar sekalipun, kalu orang melayu xberubah make menjadilah orang melayu itu hine dibumi sendiri.. selagi pemimpin melayu xde rase nk tgk bangse sendiri maju selain memikirkan tembolok masing2, selagi orang melayu xde rase nak saling bekerjesame antare satu same lain utk memajukan bangse sendiri, sampai bile2 pun melayu xkemane..

hmm cukuple tu.. da berjele2 da ni.. saye sbnrnye nak ckp simple jek tp ntah ape yg melalut byk sgt ni pun tatau.. maafla kalu terlalu panjang sampai membuatkan orang malas nak bace, tp harapan saye satu je, berubahlah demi survival bangse melayu anda..

"anda sayangkan bangsa anda? anda peduli dengan bangsa anda? selamatkan ia hari ini juga!"

wallahua3lam.

be strong ok!

bismillah..

saye baru terime sms drpd umi.. katenye adik saye yg sorang tu nanes sepanjang malam lantaran terlampau sedih dgn result spm yg die dpt.. ntahla, saye rase ok je result die tu.. tp mungkin sbb english die dpt D kot, so die risaula susah nk masuk u.. skrg ni umi saye tgh pening kepale camne nak pujuk die + ke mane nak masukkan die blaja lepas ni.. sblm ni umi da hanta adik saye tu masuk tingkatan 6 kt sekolah agame menengah kuale kubu bharu (sam kkb) amik stam, last2 kuar sbb xtahan.. so bile da kuar sam kkb tu tinggal nk mengharap kt result spm jela.. sekali dpt 3A, 6B, 2D.. D utk english n add math.. saye xexpect die dpt byk pun, tp bg saye result die tu da memadai.. saye taula adik saye camne.. ade gak tnye umi, die gembire ke dgn result tu.. umi kate die xkesah pun berape yg adik saye dpt.. cume die kesal sket dgn result english tu..

hurm.. saye pun xtaula nak kate ape.. kesian gak sbnrnye dgn adik saye tu.. die pernah bgtau nak lawan result saye.. saye kate ok silelah beat kalu berani ngeh3.. saye cume mampu bg sokongan jela kt die.. lgpun result saye hari tu xdela hebat mane pun hehe.. tp nak buat camne, xde rezeki lagi utk die buat mase ni.. so ifah, sabar jela ye.. it's not the end of everything.. life is just about to begin.. so be strong, be motivated, be optimistic.. harapan setiase ade di depan, tinggal kite utk menanamkan kecekalan dan keazaman utk mencapai kejayaan yg kite inginkan..

bg ayong, spm bukanlah segale2nye.. ramai je orang yg berjaya dikemudian hari walaupun sblm tu spm die xkemane.. ape yg penting sekali, kite kene sentiase sedar hakikat kejayaan kite hari ni bukanla penentu kejayaan kite mase hadapan, so kenape mesti menangis dgn kegagalan yg kite terime hari ni? think positively, anggapla kegagalan yg ifah terime merupekan sebuah ujian drpd Allah sbg satu manifestasi kasih sayang Allah buat ifah.. Allah uji tanda Allah sayang.. Dia nak ifah sentiase bergantung harap dgn Dia.. Dia nak ifah makin dekat dengan Dia..

oleh itu, my dearest sister.. be strong ok.. byk2kan bersabar n jangan putus ase.. kejayaan berade di mane2.. banyak lagi jalan kejayaan lain yg akan Allah buke utk org2 yg ikhlas berjuang demi agamaNya.. ayong mengharapkan ifah terus cekal dan tabah menghadapi ujian dan sentiase optimis dalam menentukan mase depan. xde bende yg mustahil dengan izin Allah.. kuatkan hati, kuatkan jiwa.. kuatkan pergantungan dan pengharapan kepade Allah.. ayong sentiase doakan kejayaan buat ifah n support dr belakang.. teruskan perjuangan!

salam sayang dr jordan~

ganbate na!

iringan doa dan harapan ayong kirimkan buat adinda noor latifah, semoga keputusan spm yg bakal keluar esok merupakan sebuah hadiah yang paling bermakna buat abah, umi, ayong dan kak eza. semoga mendapat result yg cemerlang, ayong sentiase doakan..

2008 elections: the day after

bismillah...

teka-teki sudah terjawab.. debaran pilihanraya umum malaysia kini berakhir setelah keputusan penuh diketahui umum lewat malam semalam dengan kejutan demi kejutan yg tidak disangke2.. walaupun negara masih diteraju oleh kerajaan bn, mandat yg diberikan oleh rakyat nampaknye jelas merosot same sekali setelah mereka hanye mampu memenangi sekitar 135 kerusi di parlimen dan menang simple majoriti utk membentuk kerajaan. kejayaan pas mempertahankan kelantan, tertawannye penang, kedah, perak dan selangor ke tangan pembangkang dan tersungkurnye beberape pemimpin kanan kerajaan ibarat satu tamparan kuat buat bn, khasnye pak lah yg terlalu over confident mampu mengulangi semule kejayaan bn dlm pilihanraye 2004 yg lalu.. (padan muke~)

(tp die masih bole kate "saye xkan letak jawatan, saye xrase sape2 menekan saye.. saye xperlu berundur.." hello?!) tinggal set2 pengampu umno tu je masih terhegeh2 memberi sokongan (walaupun saye pemude umno saye xkan sokong ketue yg lembab, xkan!).. kesian sgt tgk dorang ni, hidung xmancung pipi tersorong2.. hopeless sgt.. sape2 yg nak beridolakan pakcik kite sorang ni lupekan jelah.. amikla org lain yg lebih bermaruah & berpendirian sbg idola sekalipun dorang tu cume ketue kampung korang.. (siyesly, saye malu ber'pm'kan pak lah - ini pendapat saye dan saye ade hak utk memberi pandangan.. )

However, the opposition still will have a narrow one-seat majority even if Teja goes to BN. About 50 opposition supporters are attempting to seal off the state government building in Ipoh to stop documents from being removed.

Khalid to meet Selangor sultan soon - 4.05am

PKR secretary-general Khalid Ibrahim said they will meet with the Selangor sultan "soon" regarding the formation of the new state government.

However, he told Malaysiakini that he did not wish to jump the gun when asked whether he would be the new mentri besar. The deputy mentri besar is likely to be DAP’s Teng Chang Khim, who is former state opposition leader.

Anwar ushers in ‘a new dawn for Malaysia’ - 4.08am

A triumphant PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim described the victory of the opposition parties in five states and its breach of Barisan Nasional’s two-third majority in Parliament as “a defining moment” in the history of the nation and the opening of “a new chapter.”

“The people have voted decisively for a new era where the government must be truly inclusive and recognises that all Malaysians, regardless of race, culture or race are a nation of one,” he told a packed press conference at his residence in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.

“The people have expressed in no uncertain terms that they want accountability, transparency, and the rule of law.”

PM: ‘We’ve lost, we’ve lost’ - 4.12am

These were the only words which Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi could muster when quizzed on the ruling coalition’s shocking defeat in five states.

Abdullah was posed with the question during a press conference at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. He was accompanied by his wife Jeanne, deputy Najib Abdul Razak and other BN leaders.

The prime minister added that he will make a media statement after analysing the results in detail.

2008 polls - interesting facts
www.malaysiakini.com

Barisan Nasional only gained about 51 percent of the popular vote from the 7.9 million ballots cast on Saturday.

However, it took 63 percent of the seats contested - or 140 of 222 seats in Parliament.

Interestingly, its peninsula-wide popular vote was only 49.79 percent, which effectively means that the opposition received the majority vote in this part of the country.

However, when converted to parliamentary seats, BN has 85 of the constituencies in the peninsula, while the opposition bagged 80.

Almost 40 percent of the BN's seats are in Sabah and Sarawak - 55 out of 140.

In 2004, BN won about 64 percent of the popular vote nationwide and 92 percent of the 219 parliamentary seats on offer then.

As the dust settles on the 12th general election, we highlight a number of quirky facts and figures.

Election trivia
  • The youngest candidate was PKR’s Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who is 26. He defeated Seri Setia incumbent Seripa Noli Syed Hussin.
  • The oldest candidate was grandma Maimun Yusuf, 89, who contested in the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat. She lost her deposit.
  • 56 also-rans from opposition parties and independent candidates lost their deposits after failing to secure one-eighth of the votes cast.
  • The largest majority was won by DAP’s Teresa Kok against BN’s Carol Chew, by 36,492 votes in the Seputeh parliamentary seat in Kuala Lumpur.
  • The smallest majority was just 14 votes for BN’s Hamdi Abu Bakar who beat Abu Bakar Haji Hussain of PAS in the Pengkalan Baharu state seat in Perak.
  • Four pivotal players in the Lingam tape scandal also won: Loh Gwo Burne (who recorded the footage), Wee Choo Keong (lawyer who represented VK Lingam’s brother during the inquiry) and R Sivarasa and Sim Tze Tzin (listed as witnesses but eventually not called). All four are from PKR.
  • There will be two ‘lone rangers’ in Parliament: Zulhasnan Rafique, the sole BN survivor in Kuala Lumpur’s 11 parliamentary seats - he took Setiawangsa; and DAP’s Chong Chieng Jen who won Bandar Kuching in Sarawak - the remaining 30 parliamentary seats went to BN.
  • The biggest number of candidates was in the Sukau state seat, Sabah, where eight candidates ran, including five Independents.
Debutant politicians
  • Prominent blogger Jeff Ooi - whose campaign was done online and funds were raised through his website - won the Jelutong parliamentary seat in Penang for DAP.
  • Other bloggers are Tony Pua (DAP, Petaling Jaya Utara parliamentary seat), Elizabeth Wong (PKR, Bukit Lanjan state seat) and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (PKR, Seri Setia state seat).
  • Civil society activists who succeeded were Charles Santiago (DAP, water-privatisation issues), Edward Lee (DAP, local community), Elizabeth Wong and R Sivarasa (PKR, human rights).

p/s: kalu kisah sadis ini xdiceritekan dlm buku teks sejarah tingkatan 5 dlm mase 50 tahun akan dtg sile rujuk blog ini sbg bukti lol

bismillah..

yakinlah, setiap undi anda mampu membawa perubahan.. sekurang2nya anda sudah terlepas drpd ancaman Allah kepade sesiapa yg zalim (bukan jahil) kerana mengundi pemimpin2 yg zalim utk kepentingan diri mereka sendiri..

demi saye, demi kawan2 saya, demi anak2 anda sekelian.. demi kami, generasi mase depan..

selamat mengundi buat semua rakyat malaysia~

dan hati ini terus menangis T.T

bismillah..

Allah pernah berfirman, antara lainnye yg bermaksud lebih kurang mcm nih, tidak dikatekan mereka beriman seandainye iman mereka belum diuji.. saban hari, kite melalui kehidupan yg penuh dengan onak dan duri yg kadang2 buatkan kite merungut, rase serbe xcukup etc etc.. tp mungkin da jd lumrah manusia, xpernah cukup dgn ape yg kite ade.. nikmat ade depan mate jrg kite perasan, tp bende yg xde itulah yg kite cari2 sampaikan nikmat yg xterhitung byknye depan mate kite ni kite xperasan.. mungkin kite terlupe yg susah2 hidup kite ni sbnrnye ade raaamai lg orang yg lagi susah dr kite~

bagi kita di jordan mahupun malaysia, kehidupan kite masih boleh di'consider' ok lglah kalu nak banding dgn penduduk bumi khususnye umat Islam di negara lain.. kite masih bole tido selese atas katil, masih bole makan sedap2, masih ade rumah tempat berteduh, masih boleh pg jamiah mcm biase, masih bole solat dekat masjid tanpe perlu risau akan ade org lancarkan peluru berpandu mase kite tgh smyg.. hidup kite selese, aman, tenteram, makmur.. bak kate pak lah dlm manifestonye.. (ye ler makmur sgt~)

sedara2 seIslam kite kt tempat lain camne plak?

2-3 hari lepas bumi palestin bermandi darah sekali lagi setelah rejim yahudi bertindak menyerang penduduk gaza sbg tindak balas kepade serangan roket pejuang hamas sblm itu.. berdasarkan laporan media lebih 100 org syahid, mungkin lebih lagi.. apa yg menyedihkan, serangan secara rambang yg kononnye ditujukan kepade pejuang hamas turut mensasarkan kanak2 dan wanita sbg majoriti mangsa serangan.. apelah salah depa? bayangkanlah, xcukup bantuan luar disekat, mereka dibedil & dibunuh.. masjid & hospital diserang malah petugas perubatan juga terkorban.. apa lagi yang tinggal utk gaza? hari-hari mereka diburu ketakutan, kerisauan, kesedihan yang berpanjangan.. susahnye nak survive..

tp dorang tetap tabah & sentiase xberputus asa dengan rahmat Allah.. walaupun kehilangan org2 tersayang, perjuangan menegakkan Islam dan memelihare tanah air tetap berterusan.. Allah berfirman
"dan janganlah kamu mengatakan (bahawa) sesiapa yang terbunuh dalam perjuangan membela agama Allah itu orang-orang yg mati; bahkan mereka itu orang-orang yang hidup (dengan keadaan hidup yang istimewa), tetapi kamu tidak dapat menyedarinya.."
[al-baqarah: 156]

malah Allah berfirman lagi..
"demi sesungguhnya!
[al-baqarah: 155-157]
kesusahan & penderitaan yg dorang alami menjadikan dorang umat yg kuat dan cekal menentang kezaliman..

tp dimane kite sbg sedare seIslam dorang di dalam situasi ini? kite masih leka dgn dunia, seronok2 main tenet, tgk movie, pg jalan2, buat bende2 lagho.. syariat Allah kite xjage, tanggungjawab yg ade kite abaikan.. (saye merefer kepade diri saye sendiri sbnrnye) xsalah nak buat bende2 tu tp sejauh mane nikmat yg kite dapat tu mendekatkan diri kite kpd Tuhan? sejauh mane?

memikirkan hal ini saye jd risau dan xtenteram.. saye risau kerane saye tidak adil dengan diri saye.. kesenangan yg saye terime kadang2 lupe untuk saye syukuri, nikmat yg saye kecapi jarang sekali saye gunekan utk mendekatkan diri kite dgn Ilahi.. nikmat mase lapang saye habiskan dgn perkare2 sie2, solat saye xjage, adab pergaulan saye xjage, kalam saye xjage.. banyak sgt kesilapan & kesalahan yg buatkan saye malu pade diri saye sendiri..

saye takut pada istidraj.. saye takut nikmat yang saye peroleh hanye akan melena & melekakan saye dr mentaati Allah.. saye takut nikmat ini hanye menjauhkan saye dr rahmat & kasih sayangNye.. saye takut!

benarlah hakikat bahawe bala itu satu ujian, nikmat itu juge satu ujian.. sekirenye nikmat digunekan utk menghampirkan diri kepade Allah, ia berubah menjadi satu rahmat.. tetapi seandainye nikmat digunekan sebaliknye, itulah yg dinamekan istidraj.. sape yg terjerumus kpdnye make tunggulah pembalasan Allah di hari pengadilan nnt.. (na3uzubillahi min zalik..)

ya Allah, ampunkan kami atas dosa2 kami.. ampunkan kami atas kelalaian kami.. ampunkan kami atas kebodohan dan kebiadapan kami terhadapMu ya Allah.. kami mengingkari perintahMu, kami melanggar laranganMu, kami menyalahgunakan nikmat2Mu.. kami bersalah ya Allah! ampunkanlah kami.. selamatkanlah kami drpd api nerakaMu ya Allah..

ampunkanlah kami.. ampunkanlah kami.. T.T
